GCDocs (formerly RDIMS) never successfully took root. Why not? Because the fundamentals of modern EDRMS, including a high degree of recordkeeping automation, were not incorporated. Current Microsoft Purview initiatives and other EDRMS projects need to catch up to the latest deployment techniques in order to avoid the same fate.
